The puppies are growing like crazy.  Bunny is an awesome mom.

I can't believe it has been nearly a week since I posted.  You would not believe how much time baby puppies take up.  But.....Oh My, is it worth it!!!

Bunny and babies are doing great!!  They were a week old on Thursday (12/19) night and they are all at least a pound.  Most are well over now.

They are on Day 6 of their Bio Sensory Stimulation and weigh ins.  We will do this every day until Saturday 12/28.  Eyes and ears will be open by then.  We will then, move them out of the bedroom and into the main part of the house where they will be exposed to the sights and sounds of daily life and their busy box.

Bunny's Puppies were born Thursday night Dec 12th.  4 Females and 3 Males.  Mom and puppies are all doing great.

 
The one with the most white is a male.  The lighter colored one with white is a female.  She was the last one born and the only one born on Friday the 13th.  The others were born before midnight.  The top 2 photos were taken on Friday.  The one to the left on Saturday the 14th and the two below were taken today.  They have already gained over an ounce each and I have not yet weighed them today.

I name all of my puppies after song titles and I have decided that this litter will be the "Eagles" Greatest Hits litter.

NEWS FLASH!!!!!

Kells and Bunny have both been bred!!  

I don't normally breed two girls at the same time.  However, Kells has never had puppies and it has been 11 months since they were last in season. I was afraid if I only bred Kells, she would miss and I would have to wait another 11 months for them to come back in.

Soooooo................If all goes well, we should have puppies the middle of December.  The parents can be seen on our website.

NEWS FLASH!!!

Kells is finally in season!!!  

If all goes as planned.....
She should be bred on or around Oct 11th, which will have puppies due around Dec 13 (yes, Friday the 13th!!)  
Puppies are ready for their new homes at 9-10 weeks old.  
We will possibly get reds, greys, tails and no tails.

4 weeks old and growing...................

We moved the puppies out into the main part of the house last week and set up the Busy Box this weekend.  They are now interacting with each other and us.

Dustin says Hi!!

The puppies are growing and doing well.  They started Super Puppy (Bio Sensory Stimulation) yesterday and will continue everyday through 16 days old.  At that time we will move them from or bedroom to the main living area so they will be in "the thick of things" and bombard them with sights and sounds.

Bunny had her puppies very early Tuesday morning (Jan 15th).  All went well and she is being a great mom.  We did have a couple surprises.  Apparently someone was hiding from the ultrasound.  We were expecting 3 puppies and got 4.  3 females and 1 male.  

The other surprise was this very flashy white marked girl.
